Front Range Community College Integrated Technology Building

Iconergy provided LEED commissioning services for this 28,679 SF, single story building on the Front Range Community College campus. The facility provides instruction space for welding, automotive and electromagnetic energy technology departments. The building is approximately 29,000 sqft and includes classrooms, a large high bay automotive shop, a large high bay welding shop, offices, and meeting space.

Iconergy provided LEED commissioning services for this 28,679 SF, single story building on the Front Range Community College campus. The facility provides instruction space for welding, automotive and electromagnetic energy technology departments. The building is approximately 29,000 and includes classrooms, a large high bay automotive shop, a large high bay welding shop, offices, and meeting space. The Auto shop includes CO tailpipe exhaust and a 100% OA MAU with heat recovery and evaporative cooling. The welding shop uses a similar MAU and also includes snorkel welding arms, plasma cutting hood, and cutting/grinding hoods which are served by a large recirculating filtration system. Three Dx/gas fired Dx units serve the other clean spaces. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems were commissioned including: rooftop units, makeup air units, terminal boxes, building automation system, automated lighting controls, and domestic hot water systems. The project obtained LEED silver certification.
