Since 2018, Iconergy has performed the required engineering services to assess the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) ENERGY STAR program for nearly 80 Poudre School District-owned facilities. Our staff ensured that each building met the ASHRAE 62.1 acceptable indoor environmental quality standards, documented comprehensive energy use of building equipment (such as classroom computers) and environmental systems and equipment, and answered EPA questions regarding the submitted data.

Town of Center

Iconergy completed a Water Metering Performance Contract for the Town of Center to provide an Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) water meter system for the town’s 850 water taps that were previously unmetered. Iconergy supported applications of grants and low interest loans that when combined with the revenue capture from the new meters via a performance contract. This is one of the first AMI performance contracting projects in the State of Colorado.

Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment

Since 2014, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) has contracted Iconergy to perform various building energy engineering services for more than 20 projects for their office and laboratory spaces. Services Iconergy staff have performed include energy and water audits, lighting assessments, renewable energy assessments, commissioning, retro-commissioning, monitored-based commissioning with SkySpark to verify energy savings, and consulting. Many of these projects were completed simultaneously by Iconergy staff in order to meet the desires of CDPHE and complete projects within the contracted timeline.

Deer Trail 26J School District, Deer Trail PK-12 School

Iconergy provided energy modeling, sustainability facilitation, and commissioning to meet the requirements for the CHPS rating system for the newly constructed 75,000 square foot PK-12 school. Our engineering team performed integrated project delivery, early and ongoing participation in the development of the owner and project requirements and energy analysis to provide advice for the design team to select durable, low-maintenance energy efficient and resource efficient equipment and strategies for the ultimate design concept.
