To meet requirements for the State of Colorado’s High Performance Certification Program, Iconergy proposes to provide commissioning services equal to LEED v4 (Fundamental and Enhanced Cx) or CHPS Verified through the Collaborative for High Performance Schools. As the project design has yet to begin, plans are currently on this 74,250 SF school of medium complexity (VAV rooftop units with heating and chilled water plants, no renewable energy systems). The certification process dictates which equipment must be commissioned. Under a CHPS program the scope must include HVAC mechanical systems/equipment, the domestic hot water heating plant and automated lighting controls. LEED v4 includes the systems required under CHPS, as well as power distribution systems.
