Energy as a service

The goal of Energy as a Service (EaaS) is to achieve sustainability, renewables, energy efficiency, and most importantly for facilities owners in a more affordable and cost-predictable way.

Why Eaas?

The goal of Energy as a Service (EaaS) is to achieve sustainability, renewables, energy efficiency, and most importantly for facilities owners in a more affordable and cost-predictable way. As facilities owners embark on capital investment planning and other financial markers to replace failing and/or inefficient equipment, EaaS can provide a financial plan for those long-term capital plans while also achieving decarbonization and GHG reduction goals.

The New Belgium Brewery is a nearly 200,000 square foot large campus dedicated to brewing beer and includes administrative offices, tasting room, brewing spaces, a bottling building, and a process water treatment facility. Iconergy performed retro-commissioning of the company’s facilities and identified numerous measures to save energy and improve operations. The overall project had less than a one year payback, providing an outstanding return on investment to New Belgium. New Belgium continues to provide ongoing commissioning and data analytics via monitoring-based commissioning using SkySpark and energy management information system (EMIS) integrations.
Fundamental and Enhanced Commissioning services were performed for this 134,480,000 square foot, newly constructed teaching and research laboratory facility. This project achieved LEED BD+C: New Construction v3 LEED 2009 Gold Certified.

Our Experience

Iconergy’s engineers have provided this service dozens of times to help eliminate risk and results in more predictable energy and water bills for the facility.
